Women’s Earth Alliance (WEA) is on a mission to empower women’s leadership to protect our environment, end the climate crisis, and ensure a just, thriving world. WEA works at the intersection of gender, racial, economic, social, and climate justice, knowing that one can’t happen without the others.

Since 2006, WEA has partnered with grassroots women leaders to tackle pressing global challenges through initiatives in regenerative agriculture, clean energy, conservation, sustainable livelihoods, health, and Indigenous knowledge. WEA’s model centers on long-term investment in local leaders and community-based groups, amplifying a multiplier effect: one leader becomes ten, then one hundred, transforming entire regions. Through our Accelerators and capacity-building programs, women leaders gain skills, seed funding, mentorship, and access to a global alliance.

To date, WEA has trained and funded more than 53,000 women in 31 countries. Their grassroots efforts have reached over 24 million people, catalyzing solutions that regenerate ecosystems, restore food systems, protect land and water, advocate for clean energy, and build resilience in the face of climate change.
